Indiana McDonald’s restaurants to donate 10 percent of digital Sales to local high school athletics

McDonald’s owner operators throughout Indiana will be raising funds for local high school athletics on October 21. During the High School Digital Fundraiser Day, 184 schools across Indiana, including Elwood Jr-Sr High School, will earn 10 percent of all sales purchased through the McDonald’s app.

Elwood Heritage Center and Museum celebrates America250

America250 is a year long celebration of the signing of the Declaration of Independence 250 years ago on July 4, 1776. Now through July 4, 2026, there will be several events planned on the county, state and national levels. The Elwood Heritage Center and Museum will also be planning events and creating a book of memories. Currently our window display reflects the birthdays of our country’s United States Navy and the United States Marine Corps. The Navy celebrates 250 years in October. The Marine Corps celebrates 250 years in November.
